Bad news if you think climate change is bad and understand higher trade tariffs will slow the energy transition and the adoption of mitigation and adaptation tech: for decarbonising industry, transport, electricity, and heating; reinforcing power grids; amongst others. Great news if you are excited about the new line of attack from Trump and the global populist right: climate change is good, actually.
